Hedgehog, Fall, and Apple! It’s All Connected 🍂🍎🦔


When we think about fall, what comes to mind? Apples, hedgehogs, cozy colors, and so much cuteness! Kids love it all—so why not bring these favorites into the classroom with a simple and fun craft?

Today I’m sharing an easy Hedgehog and Apple Fall Craft that works perfectly for kindergarten and grade 1, but can easily be adapted from PreK all the way up to grade 5.

Steps

Color and cut the template – let kids get creative with fall colors

Cut the template.

Add tape – cover both sides with transparent tape to make the paper stronger.

Put them together – carefully line them up and leave a border of tape around the edges. This border is important—it will keep the stuffing inside.

Add stuffing – open a small hole, fill it with paper scraps, cotton, or tissue, and then seal it with tape.

That’s it! You now have a soft, squishy hedgehog or apple toy that kids will love.

This craft is simple, mess-free, and perfect for fall. Best of all? It works across grades, from PreK through grade 5.
