About

Written by Patricia Lopes

Hello and welcome! I’m Patrícia Lopes — an enthusiastic educator, art lover, and creator of teaching resources designed to spark joy, creativity, and curiosity in the classroom.

Along the way, I’ve earned a BA in Visual Arts, BA degrees in both Portuguese & English Language and Graphic Design, plus a Certificate of Higher Education from the University of the Arts London. My professional development includes IB PYP training (Category 1 & 2), Cambridge ESOL FCE, and multiple certifications through the Teddy Bear Educational Program.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students across the globe, from vibrant classrooms in Brazil to the heart of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. My teaching journey began over a decade ago and has included everything from preschool to high school, in both homeroom and specialist roles.

✏️ My Teaching Style

In my classroom, learning is meant to be exciting. I believe in creating an inspiring and playful environment where students feel confident, curious, and encouraged to express themselves. Whether it’s through a hands-on art project or a cross-curricular activity, my goal is to make every student eager for more.

Through this blog, I hope to share my experiences, resources, and insights — and connect with fellow teachers around the world. Whether you’re here for creative art lessons, cross-curricular ideas, or just a little inspiration, I’m so glad you stopped by!
